Surgical Product: Market Growth

A major, multi-national surgical products manufacturer desired to dramatically increase penetration of the potential market and grow volume for a new technology.
· Challenges
Brand management tenure and experience were not deep and direction was to move very fast by leveraging a large marketing budget.
· Assistance Provided
Within a two (2) week window, an assessment of opportunities and barriers was completed and a “Push/Pull” marketing strategy and plan were sketched out and costs projected. Plan included recommendations on sales force training and compensation, creation of digital messaging tools, web-based physician education and leveraging existing distribution channels. Following approval to implement the plan, The Marketing Connexion resources worked side by side with client personnel to: develop messaging strategies, create communications and training content, coordinate outside suppliers and deliver upper management progress reports.
